Think of a recent situation you would like to understand better: saying yes when you are already busy, putting off a conversation, or choosing to rest.
You will write what happened, what you did, and what happened afterward. Then you will choose a response to keep or change and make a small plan for a similar situation. You can return later to see what you learned.
No knowledge of psychology is needed. Choose something manageable, leave out names, and write as little as you like. Only the first question needs an answer. You can skip the others, take a break, or stop. There is no score.

Privacy and what to expect
Your answers stay in this browser. Saving is off until you choose
it. On a shared device, leave saving off and clear your reflection
when you finish. Printing and copying create copies you control.
This page has no exercise analytics. The host receives ordinary page
requests. Optional email sends your address and communication
choices, never your reflection. An email cannot restore your answers
on another device.
The Loop draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an approach to noticing your experience and choosing actions that reflect what matters to you. You can use this exercise without knowing ACT or working with Dr. MCB. It is an educational activity, not therapy, diagnosis or urgent support. For help with your mental health, contact a healthcare professional. You do not need to revisit a distressing memory.
Fictional example · The answers are filled in so you can see how each step works. You can edit them to practise. Clear the example when you want to start with your own situation.
